  This review is based only on my experience with the administrative staff and processes at Somers Orthopedic. (I had knee surgery years ago, and had fantastic results). I made an appointment recently to talk to a doctor about hip/ leg pain I've been having, and since my issue is not an area in which he is experienced, I decided to see a different specialist. I called the office this morning, and spoke to a woman who seemed determined to be very UNhelpful (quite the opposite of the kind of attitude I expect from someone in this position). In addition, the policies of this office are anything but customer friendly. I asked if my X-rays could be sent to me, and she said no, I would have to come in to the office. I asked when could I come in and she said only weekdays before 4pm, and I would have to wait for them to make a disk, and she couldn't tell me how long it would take (it would "depend on how busy they are"). I asked if I could just order them ahead of time, so I could pick them up on my way to work and she said no, they "don't like to do that". So I asked if my husband could pick them up and she said "only if he on on your approved list". Not sure what that meant, so I asked if he is on the list and she seemed very bothered to have to check. VERY UNHELPFUL, and it definitely seemed like that was her intention. RUDE.
